My stay at Woodland was enjoyable. The room was not only spacious but also beautifully furnished. The hotel's ambiance, enhanced by its lovely surroundings, created a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation after a long work day. The staff demonstrated exceptional attentiveness, ensuring all our needs were met promptly. Dining was a delight, with the breakfast showcasing a fantastic Scottish menu that started my day off on the right note.
The unfinished building project nearby detracted from the overall experience.

Unique architectural design, impressive grounds, large bathrooms with modern fittings
An incomplete building extension detracts from the overall property aesthetics!!! Lack of proper disabled access is concerning. Inconsistent Wi-Fi connectivity could frustrate guests!!!

Recommend it for a relaxing family getaway
I loved the peaceful lounge room where I could enjoy a drink,, it was so calming after a long day. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home, just like good neighbors would do.
It wasn’t cheap,, but I guess for what we got, it was still okay.

We had an amazing stay with our pup, enjoying the spacious room and super comfy bed. The cozy lounge was perfect for unwinding, and the garden area offered a lovely spot to relax with a cup of tea. Only downside was the bathroom fan didn't work well, but it didn’t put a damper on our fun time! 😊
